The Melbourne Cup Carnival features an exciting Fashions on the Field competition for Best Dressed and Best Suited, taking place on Derby, Cup, and Oaks Day, with winners announced on Oaks Day, competing for a share of over $222,000 in prizes.
In addition to the fashion festivities, The Park will offer a diverse range of food options, including a pop-up from Johnny, Vince, and Sam’s – a collaboration between Johnny Di Francesco and the Sooshi Mango team and the popular Bali burger joint BO$$MAN Burgers, marking their first pop-up restaurant in Australia.

The Victoria Racing Club (VRC) has announced The Park’s impressive 2024 Melbourne Cup Carnival lineup, promising to enhance this year’s racing celebrations with an incredible mix of international and local music stars.
Penfolds Victoria Derby Day will showcase an exclusive performance by acclaimed American singer Anastacia, making her sole Australian appearance. Famous for her powerhouse vocals and hit songs like “I’m Outta Love” and “Left Outside Alone,” Anastacia will light up The Park Live Stage following the Group 1 Penfolds Derby. Joining her will be Dutch DJ Sam Feldt, celebrated for his unique electronic music style, including his multi-platinum remix of “Show Me Love” and various high-profile collaborations. On Lexus Melbourne Cup Day racegoers can immerse themselves in the dynamic rhythms of Empire of the Sun’s DJ set. The renowned Australian electronic duo delivers an unforgettable headline show, featuring their chart-topping track “Walking on a Dream” after the race that stops a nation™. Joining them will be British sensation Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who will bring her timeless 2000s hit “Murder on the Dancefloor to the biggest day of the year. Prices start from $99.
Crown Oaks Day promises to be a standout event, headlined by Irish sensation Ronan Keating. Rising to fame with the 90s boyband Boyzone, Keating has achieved international success with hits like “Life Is A Rollercoaster” and “When You Say Nothing At All.” As a solo artist, he has sold over 20 million records globally, in addition to the 25 million records sold with Boyzone. Joining the lineup, ARIA-nominated singer and songwriter Ricki-Lee will also perform in The Park. Closing out the week, TAB Champions Stakes Day will feature a headline performance by Australian indie rock band The Temper Trap, famous for their captivating sound and hit song “Sweet Disposition,” which has garnered over 500 million streams on Spotify and earned multi-platinum status in Australia, the UK, and the US. Joining them on stage will be the soulful Mia Wray, a rising star with a history of sold-out shows and previous performances alongside artists like Maisie Peters, Vance Joy, and DMA’S.
