Chess The Musical | Australian tour from 22 April

The incredible cast will be backed by 25 professional musicians from Perth Symphony Orchestra.

Set against the background of the Cold War in the early ’80s, Chess The Musical tells the story of a complex love triangle combined with dramatic political intrigue, where Soviet and American forces attempt to manipulate an international chess championship for political gains.

It first premiered to glowing reviews in London’s West End in 1986, running for three years.

Chess The Musical will open at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre this April before heading to Perth Concert Hall in June. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.
