With nine weeks of world-class racing and entertainment across 10 racedays, the Sydney Everest Carnival is the ultimate spring celebration.

Sydney Surf to Turf Day

The celebration of thoroughbred racing and entertainment all kicks off with Sydney Surf to Turf Day at Royal Randwick. Headlined by the $1 million 7 Stakes, the epic racing schedule is also complimented by the $1 million The Shorts and the $300,000 Tea Rose Stakes.

Get amongst the action in the WINX Stand where top-class racing, fashion, cuisine and entertainment converge. Across the carnival, racegoers can also look forward to wrapping up the day with the free and exclusive After The Last concerts! To get the party started, Sydney Surf To Turf Day will feature a performance by global DJ sensation Hot Dub Time Machine.

Kia Golden Rose Day

Kia Golden Rose Day is an elegant and uplifting day with canary yellow and spring tones serving as the fashion inspiration. On the track, the highlight is a Group 1 for three-year-old stayers, the $1 million Kia Golden Rose.

Boasting picturesque viewing lawns, stylish lounges, restaurants, Champagne Bars and close proximity to the thrilling racing, Rosehill Gardens provides an immersive racing experience like no other. Other features of the day include the James Squire Trackside Reserve, photo opportunities with the Golden Eagle Trophy, roving entertainment and Celebration Hour.

TAB Epsom Day

Expect Group 1 action aplenty on the third day of the Carnival, TAB Epsom Day. Sydney’s heart-beat of racing Royal Randwick will host three Group 1 races, headlined by the Group 1 $1.5 million TAB Epsom.

Usher in the long weekend in style and celebrate sporting greatness on track, with plenty of entertainment to capture the imagination for punters and racegoers alike throughout the afternoon. The feature act performing on TAB Epsom Day in the After The Last concert will be internationally recognised Australian performer DJ Havana Brown.

Hill Stakes Day

Rosehill Gardens welcomes back the Sydney Everest Carnival for Hill Stakes Day. The highlight of the day’s strong racing program is the time honoured $2 million Hill Stakes. Other stand outs on the schedule include the $1.5 million Alan Brown Stakes and the competitive $500,000 Gloaming Stakes and $500,000 Tapp-Craig.

Hill Stakes Day is set to sparkle with a splash of silver being the fashion inspiration for the day – the pinnacle of Sydney’s style, sophistication and glamour.

TAB Everest Day

The jewel in the crown of the Sydney racing calendar, TAB Everest Day is one of the country’s showpiece sporting and entertainment experiences and the hottest ticket in town! The undeniable highlight of the day is the seventh running of the $20 million TAB Everest, which will see the 12 best sprinters compete in the world’s richest race on turf. Other racing highlights include the $5 million King Charles III Stakes over 1600m.

It’s also sure to be another incredible day of entertainment off the track with roving entertainment, DJ Sets in the WINX Stand and a huge After The Last concert (headline performance to be announced soon).

Spring Wild Card Day

Get set to sparkle at Spring Wild Card Day at Royal Randwick. Enjoy incredible racing with the $1 million Five Diamonds Prelude and Big Dance Wild Card. Once the action on track has concluded get ready to dance the day away with a After The Last performance from highly-acclaimed ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again.

Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day

Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day is a day truly like no other, attracting Sydney’s best dressed to experience unrivalled entertainment, fashion and cuisine. The racing is highlighted by the best staying three year olds in the Group 1 $2 million Moët and Chandon Spring Champion Stakes and the $2 million The Invitation.

Dress to impress in spring pastels on Sydney’s most stylish day and enjoy an After The Last performance by party starters Groove City.

James Squire Golden Eagle Day

Rosehill Gardens comes to life for Western Sydney’s biggest spring party, James Squire Golden Eagle Day. Sydney’s second richest race and the showpiece event, the $10 million James Squire Golden Eagle is the premier four-year-old race on the calendar. It isn’t the only feature on the day though with the $3m Giga Kick Stakes set to attract a brilliant field while the Rosehill Gold Cup and Four Pillars add to a tremendous day’s racing.

Wear a touch of gold and revel in the glamorous fashion and fabulous food before ending the day on a high with an epic After The Last concert (headline act to be announced soon).

The Big Dance on Cup Day

Witness live racing on the first Tuesday in November on Cup Day at Royal Randwick in Sydney – the only place to be on Cup Day if you’re in Sydney. This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever with the second running of the $3 million The Big Dance.

Five Diamonds Ladies Day

Five Diamonds Ladies Day at Rosehill Gardens is the traditional Ladies’ Day during the Spring bringing an elegant and vibrant finale to Sydney Everest Carnival. The spring celebrations close with the new $2 million The Five Diamonds, a glittering showpiece race on a day packed with top-class action.

A day for champagne, fine food and great company, it’s the perfect end to the Carnival.
