Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival 2021 is the place to be this season.
With six huge race days across both Rosehill Gardens and Royal Randwick, there are plenty of excuses to squeeze in a day out this March and April.
Chandon Ladies Day (Rosehill Gardens – Saturday 13 March)
Fashion, bubbles and fine fillies – Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival 2021 kicks off in a sea of pink with at Rosehill Gardens with Chandon Ladies Day
Sydney’s pink race day will be held in support of the McGrath Foundation, raising funds for Breast Care Nurses and increasing breast awareness across the country.
You can treat yourself to the Pink Fashion Lunch supporting this great cause, alongside Channel 7’s Samantha Armytage, star Director and Actress Rachel Griffiths, singer Christine Anu and guest chef Chase Kojima from The Star’s Sokyo.
Tickets begin at just $40* for General Admission, with gates opening at 11.30am and the first race at 12.35pm.
Longines Golden Slipper (Rosehill Gardens – Saturday 2o March)
The Longines Golden Slipper is reserved for horse racing’s best with a sensational five Group 1 races on track – headlined by the world’s richest 2-year-old race, heading into its 65th year.
Off-track, the fun doesn’t stop, with bold fashion on show, award-winning hospitality to keep you going all day, and a live performance after the last race by legendary rocker Jon Stevens.
Grab tickets from just $49* for General Admission, with gates opening from 11am.
Stakes Day (Rosehill Gardens – Saturday 27 March)
The annual family day marks the final day of the Longines Golden Slipper Carnival and is the perfect outing for the young and old alike.
New this year is the Rosehill Food and Wine Festival, showcasing the very best gourmet produce and boutique wines from NSW.
Sample or shop for locally sourced produce, while DJs, pop-up bars, and Sydney’s finest street vendors come together to create an unforgettable atmosphere. Plus, there are plenty of free activities to keep the kids entertained all day.
On-track you will be treated to two Group 1 races – $1.5 million Kia Tancred Stakes and the $500,000 Vinery Stud Stakes.
Gates open at 11.15am and tickets start at just $40* for General Admission.
The Star Championships Day 1 (Royal Randwick – Saturday 3 April)
The action at Royal Randwick begins with the most elegant of race days. In a nod to tradition, racegoers are encouraged to dress in black and white, with the day headlined by both the $2 Million Group 1 Australian Derby and the $3 million Group 1 The Star Doncaster Mile – first run in 1861 and 1866 respectively.
The $2.5 million Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes and the $1 million Group 1 Inglis Sires’ also feature on a high quality 10-race card.
Off the track, Hot Dub Tim Machine will keep the day going post-racing, while the Fashion Stakes competition, live DJs, pop-up bars and more ensure there is no better way to spend your Easter long weekend.

The Championships Day 2, Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day (Royal Randwick – Saturday 10 April)
The Championships Day is renowned for a race steeped in history, The Group 1 Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
Prestige, assured legacy and record prizemoney of $4m will guarantee a world-class field in 2021. And with an honour board including stellar names from Tulloch to Winx, keep your eyes here.
The undercard includes three more Group 1 races – the $2 million Group 1 Schweppes Sydney Cup, the $1 million Group 1 Australian Oaks and the $1 million Group 1 Coolmore Legacy Stakes.
Epic live music is also in store, so keep your eyes peeled for that announcement.

Schweppes All Aged Stakes Day (Royal Randwick – Saturday 17 April)
The final day of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival 2021 is set to be a huge party.
The on track action is going off with a bang, headlined by the Group 1 $600,000 Schweppes All Aged Stakes and the Group 1 $500,000 Moët & Chandon Champagne Stakes.
For those wanting to make the occasion more special, an unrivalled hospitality experience awaits from stylish cocktail parties and Champagne bars to the unsurpassed views and traditions of grandstand dining.
