Kids Go Free across Rounds 16-19 of the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season

Bring the whole family along and enjoy school holidays at the footy with Kids Go Free!

School holidays are here and in an epic celebration of family fun and football, kids are taking over the 2023 AFL Premiership Season with Kids Go Free.

Children aged 14 years old and under will have free entry* to games across Rounds 16 to 19. There will also be a bunch of family-focused activities on offer on match days across the country, including entertainment, giveaways and more!

Terms and conditions apply, subject to capacity and availability. All tickets are subject to the AFL Ticket and Entry Conditions.

What’s happening on game day?

Round 17

Brisbane Lions v West Coast Eagles

There’s plenty of fun to enjoy in the sunny state at The Gabba. Young Lions fans can enjoy face painting, bungee trampoline, skill testers and more before the Lions’ match against the Eagles.

GWS GIANTS v Hawthorn

There’s a GIANT amount of fun and games on offer at GIANTS Stadium in Round 17 including, rides and inflatables, performers and roaming entertainment.

St Kilda v Melbourne

The epic Kids Zone at Gate 7 of Marvel Stadium will host endless fun for little Saints and Demons supporters. Featuring, face painting, arts and crafts, footy inflatables, mascot and player appearances, stilt walkers, exciting giveaways and more!

Geelong v North Melbourne

To celebrate Kids Go Free, the Cats are putting on a junior members clinic, as well as roaming entertainment at GMHBA Stadium on game day.

Essendon v Adelaide

The Bombers are throwing Australia’s Biggest Costume Party in Round 17, encouraging all match goers to dress up with door prizes for those in costume, fashions on the field at half time, best dressed spot prizes and more. The kids will be taking over with a Junior MC and the Marvel Kids’ Zone where there will be heaps of activities to keep the kids busy.

You can also learn more about wheelchair football from the Bombers wheelchair football team at the activation outside Gate 7. Additional wheelchairs will be available for kids to try it out.

Fremantle Dockers v Carlton

Activities on offer for young fans at Optus Stadium in Round 17 include a silent disco, giant bubbles, inflatables and more. The WA Police are also getting amongst all the action with an interactive station with horses, police vehicles and puppies.

Round 18

North Melbourne v Hawthorn

Undersea explorers the Octonauts will put on a performance before North Melbourne take on the Hawks in Round 18. The Roo squad can also be found at Gate 7 offering face painting and footy drills, whilst fans can also challenge themselves at the Hart Sports obstacle court also located near Gate 7. Other fun on offer includes inflatables and roaming mascots.

West Coast Eagles v Richmond

Get to Optus Stadium early to enjoy the kids Fan Zone at the Western Concourse! Get amongst the fun with a silent disco, circus workshop, face painting, temporary tattoos, roaming magicians and more. There will also be the opportunity to meet and greet some non-playing players and a competition to win a signed guernsey.

Round 19

Essendon v Western Bulldogs

At their match against the Bulldogs, the Bombers will be raising awareness and much needed funds for Challenge, supporting kids with cancer. The Marvel Kids Zone will host a bunch of fun and games for young fans, as well as Junior MCs stepping into the spotlight, including interviewing Challenge kids.

Carlton v West Coast Eagles

Junior Blues supporters can get amongst the fun with personalised footy cards and limited junior baggers flags, as well as the opportunity to meet non-playing/injured players.

St Kilda v North Melbourne

The Kids Zone from the Saints Round 17 match will return for their game against the Kangaroos, open from 3pm until the end of the first quarter.
