CHICAGO The Musical opens at the Capitol Theatre this June!
Murder, greed, corruption, exploitation, adultery, treachery… and All That Jazz… so begins the international multi-award-winning musical, CHICAGO.
While many people may associate CHICAGO with the 2002 film adaption, the iconic musical first opened on Broadway in 1975, making it the longest running musical on Broadway… with no end in sight. Originally inspired by true crime, the stirring themes of the show have remained relevant throughout every era since its conception; holding an uncomfortably clear mirror up to the audience and shining a light on some of society’s darkest values that have outlasted generations. Don’t worry, it will also make you laugh!
