With an early 10:30am start due to forecast high temperatures, Rod Laver Arena is stacked with blockbuster Round 3 action from morning to night. The day begins with former world No.1 Karolina Pliskova taking on world No.9 Madison Keys in a clash of power hitters. Following them is reigning champion and world No.2 Jannik Sinner, who steps onto centre court to face Ethan Spizzirri as he looks to continue his Melbourne campaign.

The night session is headlined by Novak Djokovic, who meets Botic van de Zandschulp, before a huge women’s clash sees world No.16 Naomi Osaka face Aussie qualifier Maddison Inglis under lights.

Margaret Court Arena also shifts to an early start, delivering a full slate of high-quality Round 3 encounters.

World No.6 Jessica Pegula opens proceedings against Oksana Selekhmeteva, followed by fourth-ranked Amanda Anisimova taking on Peyton Stearns. Later in the afternoon, world No.8 Ben Shelton meets world No.30 Valentin Vacherot in men’s singles.

The night session features one of the marquee matches of the day, with world No.2 Iga Swiatek going head-to-head with world No.31 Anna Kalinskaya, before former US Open champion Marin Cilic faces world No.12 Casper Ruud to close out the evening.

John Cain Arena takes centre stage with an early 10:30am start as singles action heats up in Round 3. The day session opens with world No.5 Lorenzo Musetti facing Tomas Machac, followed by world No.21 Elise Mertens taking on qualifier Nikola Bartunkova as she looks to keep her run on track.

Under lights from 5:00pm, the arena delivers two headline matches: Swiss great Stan Wawrinka returns against world No.9 Taylor Fritz, before world No.5 Elena Rybakina caps off the night against Tereza Valentova in a powerful women’s contest.

Kia Arena hosts a strong day of Round 3 action, beginning with a battle between two top-25 players as world No.15 Karen Khachanov takes on world No.22 Luciano Darderi. World No.13 Linda Noskova then meets Xinyu Wang in women’s singles, before the day concludes with world No.16 Jakub Mensik facing Ethan Quinn in a matchup of rising men’s talents.

Across the rest of the courts, the focus shifts to doubles and strong Australian representation. Aussies feature prominently on ANZ Arena, with wildcards Kimberly Birrell and Talia Gibson taking on world No.2 pairing Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini, while Jason Kubler and Marc Polmans team up in men’s doubles. Matt Ebden is also back in action in mixed doubles alongside Gibson, adding further home-crowd interest. High-ranked doubles teams are in action across the grounds, led by the world No.2 pair Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten, the world No.3 duo Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, and the world No.4 combination Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic as the doubles draws continue to build momentum.

It’s also a big milestone day as the junior championships begin across the outside courts, with the next generation of stars stepping onto the Melbourne Park stage in both the boys’ and girls’ singles. With early starts, packed schedules and future champions in action, Day 7 promises wall-to-wall tennis across the precinct.
