Australian Open 2027: Everything you need to know
The countdown to the Australian Open 2027 is on!
Wondering how to get tickets to the Australian Open 2027? Here’s everything you need to know!
• Ticket holders need a My Ticketmaster account to access their Australian Open 2027 tickets. Sign up or sign in here.
• All Australian Open 2027 tickets purchased via Ticketmaster.com.au are digital, and can only be accessed via the Ticketmaster App, Australian Open App or Ticketmaster.com.au on a mobile browser – there will be no printed tickets.
• Your tickets will be released into your Ticketmaster account closer to the event. You will be notified by Ticketmaster when your tickets are ready for download.
• Only purchase through Ticketmaster to guarantee you have a valid ticket for entry on the day.
Australian Open 2027 will unfold at Melbourne Park from 11 to 31 January.
Kicking off with the increasingly popular Opening Week and concluding with the singles final at Rod Laver Arena, fans can expect three weeks of unforgettable tennis and entertainment.
With the expanded Opening Week entertainment program, AO 2026 welcomed more than 1.3 million fans through its gates, reinforcing the year’s first Grand Slam as one of the world’s most popular sporting events.
The AO27 main draw starts Sunday, 17 January, and comes to a thrilling conclusion with the women’s and men’s singles finals, respectively, on the nights of Saturday, 30 January and Sunday, 31 January.
To ensure you don’t miss next year’s action, there are already a couple of ways to secure your spot at the Australian Open 2027.

Get to know Ticketmaster’s Smart Queue!
We expect that tickets to the Australian Open 2027 will be in high demand, and to make the process fair for everyone, you may be placed in a queue.
You will be assigned a random place in the queue once the On-sale starts. Your place in the queue is not based on what time you entered the Waiting Room. We suggest entering the Waiting Room 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the On-sale.
Once you get your spot in the queue, please do not refresh your browser, as you will be pushed to the end of the line.
We will get you through the queue as quickly as possible, so please sit tight.
All Australian Open 2027 tickets will be digital
All tickets purchased through Ticketmaster are digital, meaning you can easily access your tickets on your phone, via the Ticketmaster app or mobile web browser via Ticketmaster.com.au, add them straight to your phone’s ticket wallet, and share them with your friends and family.
When will you be able to access your tickets to the 2027 Australian Open?
Your tickets will be released into your Ticketmaster account later this year.
You will be notified by Ticketmaster when your tickets are ready for download.

If you’re looking for a small piece of memorabilia to remember your AO27 experience by, look no further than a limited-edition Event Collectables.
Event Collectables are a souvenir, 3D-style ticket, delivered post-event that serves as a treasured keepsake well after the tournament is over.
Event Collectables can be added before the checkout – add an “Event Collectable” to your order after selecting your tickets.
Event Collectables can only be delivered to fans via mail and cannot be collected from outlets or the venue. Event Collectables are not available to those without a valid Australian address. You must provide an Australian postal address to receive an Event Collectable.
Get to know Ticket Transfer so everyone has their own ticket
1. Open the Ticketmaster App
2. Tap on my events and select the event you want to Ticket Transfer
3. Tap ‘Transfer’ below the ticket you want to share (please note: you may have to wait a moment for the ‘Transfer’ button to load)
4. On the ‘Select Tickets To Transfer’ page, confirm the ticket you want to share (please note – you must Transfer each ticket individually)
5. Tap the ‘Transfer To’ button. Tap ‘Manually Enter A Recipient’ & enter your friend’s ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’, and ‘Email Address or Mobile Number’
6. Tap ‘Transfer Ticket’. The ticket in your account will now say “Sent”. You can cancel or recall the Ticket Transfer at any time
7. Your friend receives an email, asking them to accept the transferred tickets, and they can either login or create a new Ticketmaster account to accept.
8. The tickets are now ready to go in your friend’s Ticketmaster account and marked as ‘Transferred’ in your account
Please note:
• There will be a delay on Ticket Transferring before the event.
• Patrons will not be able to submit screenshots of tickets to enter the AO27 event. Make sure you have a proper ticket downloaded and added to your mobile wallet or the AO app.

Ticket transfer is available for this event. For step-by-step instructions, visit our help page How do I transfer tickets? Secure Tickets originally purchased or included with the ticket are not transferable. Secure Tickets will not apply to transferred tickets.

How do I access the Accessibility Pre-Sale?
To register for the Accessibility Pre-sale, visit the Australian Open Website.
How do I purchase tickets during the Accessibility Pre-Sale?
Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive an email with a unique link sent to the email address you used to sign up. When the Pre-Sale begins, click that link, which will take you to the purchase page on the Ticketmaster Website.
Alternatively, accessible tickets can be purchased on the Australian Open Accessibility Line on 1300 308 999, available Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm AEST, or by submitting a request through the Ticketmaster Accessible Booking Form and following these steps:
- From the dropdown menu, select Accessible Bookings as the topic.
- Then select Australian Open 2027 as the event name.
Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee a ticket. A Ticketmaster representative will be in touch if further information is required.
Can I purchase accessible tickets after the Accessible Pre-Sale?
Yes, you can purchase accessible tickets during the General On-Sale, which will begin Tuesday, 13 August 2026 at 12:00pm (AEST)
- Tickets located in the accessible bay can be purchased online through the Ticketmaster Website.
- All other accessible tickets can only be purchased on the Australian Open Accessibility Line on 1300 308 999, available Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm AEST, or by submitting a request through the Ticketmaster Accessible Booking Form.
