Spring Racing at Flemington just got even better, with the introduction of the all new Spring Social Club! Available across Crown Makybe Diva Stakes Day, Spring Classics Preview Day and TAB Turnbull Stakes Day, the Spring Social Club is your go-to destination for epic games, delicious food and endless socialising!
As part of the all new Spring Social Club, the Victoria Racing Club will bring the extremely popular sport of pickleball to the track. In collaboration with the National Pickleball League, a full-sized court will be built along the famous Flemington Straight, just past the Winning Post. Get ready to immerse yourself in the thrill of pickleball, a dynamic paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis on a modified court.
Pickleball Exhibition Match
Whether you’re a pickleball enthusiast or new to the sport, racegoers can look forward to witnessing the excitement of the inaugural Spring Social Club Pickleball Exhibition Match!
Grab a seat in the unreserved viewing deck to watch a thrilling showcase of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship, as seasoned players bring their best game to the court. It’s the perfect spot to soak in the action and cheer on the players.
Pizza and Pop-Up Bars
Between races and the pickleball action, indulge in a culinary treat with delicious pizza and refreshing drinks from the pop-up bars. Savor the flavours of Squealing Pig Wines and Furphy Beer as you relax and take in the lively atmosphere.

Kids Activities
Keep the little ones entertained all day long with a variety of kids’ activities at the Spring Social Club. From ping pong tables and lawn games to arts and crafts, there’s something for every child to enjoy. Face painters will be on hand to add a splash of colour to the day, and pony rides will give kids a chance to experience the joy of riding.
Phar Lap Club members are also invited to attend the Paddle Club – a kid friendly social club with arts and crafts, lawn games and fun facilitated pickleball play on Mini Pickleball Courts.
