Once is finally here!

The wait is finally over. Once, a new musical is now playing at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre. Based on the Oscar winning film of the same name, Once is an inspiring and beautiful love story set in Dublin. The musical has already mesmerised audiences around the world since its off-Broadway debut in 2011.

Once is a classic ‘guy meets girl’ musical that celebrates the joy of love, friendship and music. The Australian production will see Tom Parsons play Guy and Madeleine Jones as Girl. Both actors have extensive experience and are talented musicians with Parsons playing guitar and Jones the piano.

The music in the production, including the Academy Award winning song Falling Slowly, was written by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová. Check out their incredible song below.

Another amazing part of the show is the fact that the audience is invited to have a drink at the bar on stage before the show! It is not every day you get to have a drink of the set of a major musical at a venue as beautiful as the Princess Theatre.
