Sydney’s newest outdoor venue The Barracks is here – and what better way to make an entrance than with 20 nights of music and performance? That’s right, Night At The Barracks is set to land in early 2022 with a program that is not to be missed.
Making its home in North Head Manly, perched high above Sydney Harbour, The Barracks takes performance outdoors and under the stars – giving you the chance to experience your favourite acts in a whole new, unforgettable, and unique way.
For the venue’s opening program, audiences will get to enjoy some of Australia’s biggest names in music, theatre, ballet, dance, rock, opera and jazz across five jam-packed weekends in February and March.
Performers include Jessica Mauboy, David Campbell, James Morrison, David Hobson, Lucy Durack, John Foreman and the Aussie Pops Orchestra, Tim Campbell and Bonnie Anderson, Giuseppina Grech and Lorenzo Rositano, Queensland Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, and Australian Rock Collective – so no matter what you’re into, Night At The Barracks has got you covered.

The Barracks on North Head is a historically significant and treasured space on the doorstep of Sydney that will have a new lease of life with the announcement of this all-star concert series.
The first of its kind in this new, open-air performance space, the series will provide employment to more than 650 performers and event professionals.

Getting to Night At The Barracks
Limited parking will be available at St Pauls High School, when pre-booked via Ticketmaster. There will be no parking available to purchase on the night. Please check the event website for carpark opening and closing times.

ARIA award winner, singer and popular TV presenter, David Campbell is bringing his acclaimed ‘Back in the Swing’ show to The Barracks. Campbell and his band will blend together swing, ballads and R&B from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, and Billy Joel, with Campbell’s own personal style.

James Morrison is renowned as one of the finest jazz players Australia has ever produced. One of Australia’s leading stage and screen performer Lucy Durack and Opera legend David Hobson come together for the very first time with a 45-piece orchestra, led by renowned conductor John Foreman for this one-off show. Lucy and David will perform classics from productions such as The Wizard of Oz, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Kiss Me Kate, Oklahama, Into the Woods, Shrek, Wicked, Les Miserables, and a stack more.
ARC Celebrate The Beatles’ Let It Be Album

Following two sold-out tours of The Beatles’ Abbey Road in 2019/20, The Australian Rock Collective (ARC) are returning in 2022 to present the final Beatles album in all its glory – Let It Be. ARC features Kram (Spiderbait), Mark Wilson (Jet), Davey Lane (You Am I) and Darren Middleton (Powderfinger). Together they’ll perform Let It Be in full, from start to finish, followed by a second set covering the breadth of the Beatles’ rich catalogue.
