To celebrate 30 glorious years of dance floor history, the world’s most renowned club brand, Ministry of Sound, returns with the next evolution of their acclaimed live orchestral event, completely reimagined as Ministry of Sound Classical.
Taking place in Perth’s beautiful Kings Park and Botanic Garden this December, Ministry of Sound Classical will feature the Ministry of Sound Orchestra accompanied by legendary Australian DJ Groove Terminator, AKA Simon Lewicki. Together they’ll champion the most beloved dancefloor moments of the past 30 years – rearranging, remixing and reimagining these classic tracks and giving them a whole new life.
Special guest vocalists on the night will be Montaigne and Adrian Eagle. Fresh from representing Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest in both 2020 and 2021, Montaigne has captured the hearts and ears of fans around the world, capped off by winnings the ARIA Award for Best Breakthrough Artist. It has also been a landmark couple of years for emerging Adelaide-bred singer-songwriter Adrian Eagle. After garnering widespread acclaim for his breakout singles ‘17 Again’ and ‘AOK’, Eagle featured on the legendary Hilltop Hoods’ single ‘Clark Griswold’ and took on a rendition of Ocean Alley’s ‘Confidence’ for Like A Version.
Ministry of Sound Classical will feature the most loved tracks from the biggest decades of dance music, including classics from Robert Miles, Underworld, Cafe del Mar, Moby, Laurent Garnier, Shapeshifter and freshly reinvented versions of Röyksopp, Robin S, Basement Jaxx, The Temper Trap, Darude and more.
