On track racing schedule
Don’t miss a moment of the racing! Friday will see the Moto3™, Moto2™ and MotoGP™ classes all hit the track for their first two practice sessions. Then after more practice sessions, the action ramps on Saturday morning with the Qualifying sessions getting started. The newly introduced Tissot Sprint will wrap up the schedule Saturday afternoon – half the length of Sunday’s race, the sprint is a thrilling spectacle and allows riders to push themselves and their machines to the limit in the pursuit for points.
Sunday is of course race day but before the races get started the traditional Rider Fan Parade will take place. The Moto3™ race is then first up, seeing young Aussie Joel Kelso battle it out. Following that, the MotoGP™ stars of tomorrow will compete to be crowned the Moto2™ winner. Then it’s finally time for the main event, the premier class race will kick off at 2pm seeing Aussie favourite Jack Miller go for glory.
Off track action
There’s so much more to a weekend of MotoGP™ than just the racing, with activations galore across the circuit to entertain fans of all ages.
The Fan Forum Stage will return in 2023, hosting riders in a series of intimate interviews. It’s the ultimate destination to hear from the stars of MotoGP™.
The Hero Walk is also back for the MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2023, giving fans the opportunity to welcome their favourite riders to the circuit. Located along the riders’ route to the MotoGP™ Paddock, Hero Walk will be the hype of activity with roving performers and a DJ and the best position for fans to snap a selfie or score an autograph from the riders.
Note that Hero Walk tickets must be purchased in conjunction with a valid Island Pass (GA), Grandstand or Hospitality tickets for the respective day/s. A Hero Walk ticket alone will not grant you access to the circuit.
Bring the kids along and explore the new and improved Family Zone featuring lawn games, outdoor activities and exciting activations to keep the kids busy.
You’ll also be able to sample a variety of local cuisine with a range of food trucks and dining options on offer, lose yourself in the GP Expo, a haven for motorcycle enthusiasts or let loose at one of the epic live music performances. There’s really something for everyone at this year’s MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
