Cold Chisel and Crowded House headline the huge After Race Concert Series at the 2024 VAILO Adelaide 500!
The VAILO Adelaide 500 After Race Concert Series is set to fire on all cylinders with Crowded House to headline on the Saturday night and Cold Chisel to feature after the race on Sunday.

Saturday 16th November
Multi-platinum selling band Crowded House will headline the epic After Race Concert on Saturday 16 November. Fans can expect to hear all their biggest hits including ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’, ‘Something So Strong‘ and ‘Weather With You‘, as well as songs from their newest album Gravity Stairs.
Joining Crowded House for the Saturday After Race Concert are Australian psychedelic rockers Ocean Alley, known for their smooth blend of reggae, rock and soul influences. The band’s 2018 album Chiaroscuro, featured the hit ‘Confidence,’ which earned critical acclaim and won them the Triple J Hottest 100.
Fans can also catch award winning Australian singer-songwriter Meg Mac, having recently released her third album ‘Matter of Time‘. Plus, rounding out the epic Aussie lineup for the Saturday After Race Concert is music artist J-MILLA, a 26-year-old Marranungu man from both South Australia and the Northern Territory whose signature blend societal commentary with club vibes has amassed a 200k social media following.
Sunday 17th November
Rock royalty Cold Chisel will then bring their ‘The Big Five-0’ concert tour to the VAILO Adelaide 500, as they headline the After Race Concert on Sunday 17 November. Known for their raw energy and storytelling and fronted by the powerful vocals of Jimmy Barnes, the band gained a massive following with hits like ‘Khe Sanh‘ and ‘Flame Trees.’
Supporting Cold Chisel on Sunday will be ARIA Award winning chart toppers The Cruel Sea, who solidified their place in Australia’s alternative music scene with their 1993 album The Honeymoon Is Over.
Hometown rock heroes The Superjesus also feature on the Sunday After Race Concert lineup, as well as Music SA act TONIX, who have been gaining momentum since 2023 thanks to their high-energy shows that blend synthesiser, saxophone, keytar, and drums.
