Triple J names best in Australian music with J Awards nominees for 2016

Triple J have just confirmed the nominees list for the J Awards 2016, and as you’d expect, it features a whole heap of Australia’s biggest and best acts.

As well as established artists, the awards seeks to put a spotlight on the most exciting up-and-coming acts too.

Now in its 12th year, the J Awards 2016 nominees list has given nods to Flume, Violent Soho, The Avalanches, Courtney Barnett, Camp Cope and loads more.

Winners will be announced at the event – which is also broadcast live on triple j – on Thursday 17 November.
