Powderfinger – Live 2027
After years of speculation, beloved Australian band Powderfinger have confirmed that next year, 17 years after they last exited the live arena, the iconic act will reform for a major national run of tour dates, landing in Brisbane, Cairns, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, across September and October 2027.
“We are absolutely ecstatic to be coming together to play again,” said Powderfinger. “Over the years there have been tons of suggestions for us to go back on the road but, until now, it never felt quite right or lined up for all of us.”
“We have always been so grateful for the continued support from our long-term fans and over the years we’ve picked up a lot of new ones who have never seen us play. So it feels right to bring all of these people (including our kids who were too young to see us play) together for a special run of shows around the country next year.”
“People often tell us that our music is connected to their most treasured and joyous memories. We hope to spread a little more of that joy when we make our way around the country with some of Australia’s best established and upcoming talent, and to make some new memories for us all.”
Powderfinger are back and heading your way in 2027. You don’t wanna be left out!

We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of customers all attempting to purchase tickets at the same time. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and when an act is this popular, sometimes they go very quickly.
Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.
