Kasabian will premiere new music at their exclusive Sydney shows

Kasabian are preparing to play the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall for two nights this March.

As if that wasn’t enough of a thrill for Aussie fans, the Leicester indie rockers – Tom Meighan, Sergio Pizzorno, Chris Edwards and Ian Matthews – are said to have grand plans to premiere new material at the shows.

Expected to be the only live dates they play while down under, Kasabian will celebrate 20 years as a band with the double billing.

The new material is expected to feature on their hugely anticipated, and as yet untitled, sixth studio album, and follow-up to 2014’s 48:13.

“The commanding, powerful live force of Kasabian will be something to behold in the Concert Hall,” said Sydney Opera House’s Head Of Contemporary Music, Ben Marshall. “Bringing their spectacle to Australia for just these two performances, expect raucous, rapturous adoration and a triumphant blast of rock ‘n roll from one of today’s powerhouse live acts.”

Kasabian will headline the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on 8 and 9 March 2017.
