Some of Australia’s best musicians will take to The Park Live Stage every afternoon during Cup week, whilst Melbourne’s finest pop-up restaurants serve up delicious takeaway to hungry party goers. Not to mention the prestigious Fashions on the Field with a total of over $350,000 of prizes and exceptional experiences to be won, everyone is welcomed to enter.

With prices starting at just $60 per person for general admission tickets, this epic entertainment is accessible to all Flemington racegoers. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to experience the Carnival and all the excitement it has to offer!

The outstanding program of musical acts will kick off on Penfolds Victoria Derby Day with UK sensation Joel Corry set to get the party underway. Known for blending dance and pop sensibilities, Corry’s hits like “Head & Heart” and “BED” have taken the charts by storm and will have racegoers dancing into the evening. Australian superstars Client Liaison, who have become a staple of the Australian festival scene, will also join the Derby Day lineup, injecting a touch of nostalgia with their synth-infused sounds.

Lexus Melbourne Cup Day will welcome the captivating melodies of Irish siblings THE CORRS (IE), whose hits have sold over 40 million albums worldwide and garnered international acclaim. Their headline performance in The Park celebrates The CORRS return to Australia performing their classic hits “Runaway’ ‘Forgiven, Not Forgotten’ ‘Breathless’ and more in their hour packed set, being their only live performance outside of their Australian tour. 

Australian legend Jon Stevens will also join the Cup Day festivities, magnifying the excitement with a dynamic performance featuring hits like “Take Me Back” and a range of INXS and Noiseworks’ most loved songs, promising an unforgettable day filled with exceptional musical performances following ‘the race that stops the nation™’.

On Kennedy Oaks Day, The Park will play host to Australian DJ Hot Dub Time Machine, who return to Flemington to deliver a set that will have crowds dancing through the decades, with a high energy performance to keep the party going. One of Australia’s most successful rock and electronic bands a Rogue Traders will also perform offering racegoers a chance to enjoy their music and keep the party going after the races. Led by singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte, the band will wind the clock back with hits like “Voodoo Child”.

The Melbourne Cup Carnival will hit maximum excitement levels on TAB Champions Stakes Day, with the final day of Cup Week locked in for a festival inspired DJ line-up headlined by acclaimed Australian Timmy Trumpet, known for mixing live trumpet elements into his sets. Mell Hall will also hit the decks and is the go-to DJ for some of the world’s best in the House realm – Disclosure, Basement Jaxx, Folamour, Norman Jay, DJ Seinfeld and LateNite Tuff Guy – to name a few!

Party goers will also be spoilt for choice in the food stakes, with some of Melbourne’s best foodie destinations set to pop up at The Park’s bespoke southern-style outlet, The Ranch, featuring classics like buffalo wings, pulled pork sandwiches and loaded fries. Also showcasing delicious tapas-style Brazilian food from Crown Melbourne’s Petisco and unbeatable South-East Asian flavours from Ging Thai.

There will also be a number of interactive experiences for everyone to enjoy in The Park, providing visitors with the ultimate photo moment. This will include the popular Pony Bar, which takes on a new theme each year, with this year’s edition set to be western themed. Sip on a cocktail and grab your free cowboy hat as you watch all the action on the main stage.

This will be complemented by The Park Beer Garden, featuring a super screen with all the racing action, a betting precinct, The Furphy Beer Truck, Mr Black espresso martinis and outdoor seating for racegoers to enjoy.



Fashion will also take centre stage in The Park, with the Fashion Garden once again the host location for the Melbourne Cup Carnival Fashions on the Field Competition. With so much to witness, and to win, you are invited to put your best foot forward in this year’s string of prestigious competitions. With a total of over $350,000 of prizes and exceptional experiences to be won at the Melbourne Cup Carnival Fashions on the Field prize pool, this is not an event to miss out on. The fashion enclosure will be located at the west end of The Park and include a runway and general viewing area.

The Park is located on The Hill and adjacent to the train station.

The 2023 Melbourne Cup Carnival commences with Penfolds Victoria Derby Day on Saturday 4 November, followed by Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday 7 November, Kennedy Oaks Day on Thursday 9 November and TAB Champions Stakes Day on Saturday 11 November.
