Journey through the seven continents in one incredible experience | BBC Earth Experience
Cutting-edge technology meets stunning footage from BBC Studios!
Following its success in London, BBC Earth Experience is now open in Melbourne at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Travel the natural world and journey across the seven continents in one epic experience narrated by the legendary David Attenborough.
In this immersive experience, cutting-edge audiovisual technology meets stunning footage from BBC Studios Seven Worlds, One Planet on an unparalleled scale. From fireflies putting on a spectacular light show in North America, to snub nosed monkeys huddling together to stay warm in Asia, and cassowary fathers protecting their tiny chicks in Australia, visitors will get to experience our seven continents in all their glory, like never before.
The multi-sensory experience extends to the various breakout rooms that offer glimpses into the fascinating ecosystems and nature of our planet. Plunge into the depths of the ocean and explore a world filled with marine life in the interactive Water World, before getting up close and personal with tiny critters and creepy crawlies. With inspiring insights at every turn, visitors will be left overwhelmed with the beauty and wonder of our planet.
Special Sessions
Attendees also have the opportunity to explore nature after dark with the BBC Earth Experience Twilight Sessions. Every Thursday evening adults and concessions can enjoy an intimate and uninterrupted exploration of the experience and immerse themselves in the spectacular footage from the BBC Studios television series. Only Adult and Concession tickets are available for these 6:30pm and 7:00pm sessions each Thursday, Child and Family tickets are not available.
Senior Mornings, Pram Sessions and disability-friendly Relaxed Sessions are also available to cater to those of all ages and needs.
Groups
Take part in an incredible learning experience, focused on sustainability with the BBC Earth Experience education workshops. Suitable for all year levels, school bookings are available, along with education packs designed to inspire children and develop their understanding, empathy and desire to protect the planet.
Further, BBC Earth Experience offers engaging education workshops on site to complement school bookings. The workshops are directly aligned with the Australian curriculum and will empower students to become environmental champions. The content is tailored to all year levels and key messages include; connection to nature, waste prevention and environmental advocacy.
