What’s on at the 2025 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival?
The 2025 Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival is redefining the racing scene, turning Royal Randwick and Rosehill Gardens into Sydney’s ultimate hotspots for an unforgettable day out – where guests can truly Expect It All.
Racegoers will experience top-tier racing, cutting-edge fashion, electrifying entertainment, and exciting on-ground activations. Running for six action-packed weeks from 15 March to 19 April, the Carnival will showcase the TAB Golden Slipper Carnival at Rosehill Gardens and The Star Championships at Royal Randwick. With 18 Group 1 races and an impressive $46 million in prize money on the line, the stakes have never been higher.
Crowds can also look forward to After The Last music performances, the return of the Peacock Lounge presented by Balter at Royal Randwick, and the exciting debut of Hard Rated Home Straight at Rosehill Gardens.

Stakes Day
Rosehill Gardens plays host to its final day of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival with Stakes Day. The day features the running of two Group 1 races in the Kia Tancred Stakes and Vinery Stud Stakes.
This is a day for everyone to enjoy, and open to the whole family, with family-friendly entertainment and fun throughout the day, there is something for every member of your family, including mum and dad.

The Star Championships Day 2
The excitement continues on Day 2 of The Star Championships with another four elite Group 1 races, headlined by the prestigious $5 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes – one of Australia’s highest-rated races.
With a history rich in legendary champions, the race boasts an honour roll that includes the great Winx, who claimed victory three times, culminating in her unforgettable farewell run in 2019. In recent years, top international contenders from the UK and Japan have also made their mark on this coveted event.
Adding to the day’s stellar lineup are the Group 1 $2 million Schweppes Sydney Cup, the $1 million The Star Australian Oaks, and the $1 million Queen of The Turf Stakes, ensuring another action-packed race card.

Schweppes All Aged Stakes Day
The curtain comes down on the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival with a spectacular day, headlined by the Group 1 Schweppes All Aged Stakes and the Group 1 Moët & Chandon Champagne Stakes.
A dynamic lineup of DJs will keep the energy high throughout the day, setting the perfect party vibe along the track. When the final race is run, keep the celebrations going with an electrifying set from KLP (Kristy Lee Peters) as she takes the stage for the After The Last concert series.
