Hannah Gadsby has just extended her run at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre, adding another show next Saturday (29 April).
Due to phenomenal demand for the comedian’s Nanette show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2017, tickets for one final performance will be up for grabs next week.
As for the show, it’s inspired by a woman who goes by the name Nanette. But less predictably, Hannah says she’s never actually spoke to her comedy muse.
Explaining, “Although we did not exchange a single word or even a glance, Nanette has changed my life. She hasn’t at all, but she did prompt me to think about some things and those things I thought have become this show.”
Tickets for Hannah Gadsby’s final show at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre on Saturday 29 April go on general sale at 10am on Monday 24 April.
