Pre-Match Fun: Activities to Enjoy Before AC Milan vs. AS Roma

We're now less than two weeks away until AC Milan and AS Roma kick off at Optus Stadium.

Whilst the match will be the main draw card, there will be plenty of amazing attractions in and around Optus Stadium to enjoy. Fans will have the opportunity to gather before the match where they can build up the excitement whilst enjoying the best of what Perth has to offer. They’ll be able to enjoy live music, food trucks and there will be plenty of activities to get the kids up and about for the big game. Check out all the fun activities lined up for you below.

Southern Oval Ciao Bar and Entertainment

The Southern Oval Ciao Bar will be the place to be on May the 31st! Open from 2:00pm to 7:00pm and then again post-event from 9:00pm to 10:00pm, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and socialize. With a live DJ setting the vibe and a special activation by Mrs Mac, which includes bocci and Jenga, there’s plenty of fun to be had.

Face Painting and Merchandise

Show your team spirit in preparation for the big game with face painting in team colours, available on the Southern Oval. Plus, grab your favourite merchandise from stalls at Gate A, Gate B, Gate D, and Southern Oval. The Southern Oval merchandise stall opens at 3:00pm and reopens post-event at 9:00pm, while the other gates are open from 4:00pm until kick off.

Delicious Food Trucks

Indulge in a variety of delicious options from our confirmed food trucks, available throughout the event. Enjoy authentic pasta dishes from PastaFellas, wood-fired pizzas from Base WF Pizza, unique Uyghur cuisine from Uyghur Food Truck, creamy burrata delights from Burrata Bar, traditional pizza from Dal Pizzaiolo, and Italian flatbreads from Piadina Bar. If you still have room for some dessert, treat yourself to decadent chocolate treats from ChocPool and refreshing juice blends from Juice Melody WA.

Junior Parade

We’re excited to announce that the Junior Parade will feature 2,500 participants, showcasing the vibrant youth community. Kids and families will enjoy various roaming activities:

Frank, Mr Accordion: Welcoming patrons on the Eastern side of the park with lively music.

Perth Glory Competition: Win $1,000 worth of membership by participating in this fun competition with Glory dancers handing out flyers.

Stilt Walkers: Dressed in football costumes, perfect for photo opportunities.

Interactive Games and Broadcasts

Southern Cross Austereo will be hosting interactive games where kids can test their skills and enjoy themselves. They’ll also be showcasing some impressive branded vehicles. While final activities are still being confirmed, we guarantee fun for the whole family. Additionally, ABC Drive might broadcast live from Gate 1 – stay tuned for confirmation.
