It’s lights out, and away we go – The Australian Grand Prix is almost here so what family attractions will you enjoy this year?

With the Saudi Arabian F1 Grand Prix behind us, the Formula One Rolex Australian Grand Prix is right around the corner.

Now that you are thinking about your family’s adventure to the Australian Grand Prix, it’s important that you are prepared for everything this year’s Albert Park precinct has to offer.

There are an endless number of attractions at this year’s race. No matter what your family loves, the 2023 Fan Zones are full of a huge range of activities, to keep every fan happy.

If you have managed to snap up tickets to the fastest race on the motorsport calendar, then here’s everything you need to know about the family attractions this year.

Super Mario Bros Family Zone

Located alongside the high-speed section of the circuit, the Super Mario Bros Fan Zone is located inside The Green. The Green provides activities the whole family can enjoy and is only a short walk across the water bridge. This area also features highly sought-after car displays from car clubs nationwide, as well as the Super Mario Bros Family Zone.

Be prepared for a sensory overload in The Super Mario Bros. Movie Family Zone, with carnival-style rides, RC cars, sports activities, and puppies (yes, puppies) set to keep the kids busy all weekend long.

Fan Forum Stage

The Fan Zone is the ultimate place to immerse yourself in the world of Formula 1. Home to the world-famous Melbourne Walk and the Fan Forum Stage, this area should be number one on your Albert Park bucket list.

The Fan Forum Stage is a must-visit for those attending the Formula 1 Rolex Australian grand prix 2023.

There’s no other place in the circuit to guarantee you the chance to hear from your favourite drivers, team principals, team personnel and other notable attendees. These talks will give fans impromptu Q&A sessions and a peek into their lives.

In a central location within the Fan Zone, fans are only a short distance from delicious food, drink, bars, and activations.

Beaurepaires Legends Lane

Beaurepaires Legends Lane has transformed in 2023 and is a must-visit destination. With a blend of cultural experiences and vintage vehicles, motorsport fans will be transported back in time with a celebration of racing history headlined by Shannon’s Historic Demonstration.

You’re never far from the action at Legends Lane, with a range of food and drink options complementing our roving entertainment schedule and brand activations.

There are many more things to do around the track and something for everyone to enjoy including BMX Stunt Shows, Fireworks Display, AFL Auskick, Bungee Trampolines, F1 Car Display, Ferris Wheel, Optus VR Experience, Pit Stop Challenge, Playground, and the Red Bull Display Cars.

Don’t be the last at the race track with no time to spare, so your family have enough time to explore everything the annual Grand Prix has to offer.

The FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2023 will transform the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit from Thursday 30 March, until Sunday 2 April 2023.
