Paul Gallen and Lucas Browne headline a massive night of boxing in Wollongong.
WIN Entertainment Centre will see big time boxing return to Wollongong next month, as Paul Gallen fights Lucas Browne in a much-anticipated heavyweight bout.
The fights headlines as huge night of action Wednesday 21 April, with tickets still available from just $35* each.
Gallen v Browne
Former rugby league star Paul Gallen boasts a tremendous career in both the NRL and New South Wales Origin team, as well as representing Australia at the highest level for eight years.
But, the 39-year-old has now forged a legitimate boxing career, sitting undefeated with ten wins and a draw.
Gallen’s reputation reached a new level when he defeated former UFC star Mark Hunt in December 2020 in a unanimous decision.
Gallen will face Lucas Browne, who himself won the WBA World Heavyweight Title fight in 2016.
Browne also boasts an extremely impressive record, winning 29 of his 31 fights, 25 by knockout.
Undercard and times
The headline fight is due to begin at 9.45pm, with the undercard starting at 6pm.
The night will feature up to eight undercard fights, including:
- Francis Chua v Liam Wilson
- Jack Brubaker v Steve Spark
- Lenny Zappa v Danny Kennedy
