The Australian Open 2021 has a new game plan to ensure the safety of everyone onsite this year.

The precinct will be divided into three zones, each including one of the three major arenas and offering its own unique combination of world-class tennis action, live entertainment, and local food, drink, and dining options that pay tribute to our diverse and talented local communities.

Depending on how you’d best like to spend your Australian Open, there is a zone – or experience – perfect for you. Think of it like a choose-your-own-adventure.

What are the Australian Open 2021 Zones?

John Cain Arena Zone:

The John Cain Arena zone (formerly Melbourne Arena) will be where the spirit of the ‘Happy Slam’ truly comes to live. Replacing the popular AO Ground Pass for 2021, it will provide fans some of the best value tickets for the Australian Open 2021.

As well as getting you in to see all the action in John Cain Arena, the JCA zone also gives you the chance to see your favourite stars warming up at the Practice Village, and eat and drink your way around a slice of Grand Slam Oval.

All day tickets for the John Cain Arena Zone are $49 (weekdays) $59 (Sat or Sun).

Margaret Court Arena Zone:
This year, the Margaret Court Arena Zones is a must for tennis fanatics.

With access to Margaret Court Arena, as well as 1573 Arena, Show Court 3, ten outdoor courts, and the Garden Square big screen – you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to tennis action.

The MCA zone will also host the new Garden Square Cabanas, safely seating groups of up to 10, bringing premium dining, live music and tennis viewing to Garden Square.

With delicious grab-and-go bites as well as sit-down indulgent food and drink options spread across Garden Square and the Western Courts, you’re spoiled for choice there too.

Tickets for the Margaret Court Arena Zone start from $53 per person.

Rod Laver Arena Zone:
This year, the world’s elite battle it out on Rod Laver Arena while the concourse and GSO provide the best of Victorian food, drink, and entertainment.

In 2021, Grand Slam Oval is inspired by the natural landscapes of Victoria with greenery and styling paying homage to our coastline, mountains, wine country, and bushland. Ample seating, delicious food options, a range of bars, and fun activations from some of your favourite brands add to the RLA Zone experience.

Tickets for the Rod Laver Arena Zone start from $62 per person.
