Melbourne’s music scene is built on the passion of bands like Clowns.
Emerging from Melbourne’s Bayside suburbs, Clowns are a hardcore punk band with the raw energy of a fierce fireball.
Having bagged themselves a support slot opening for Foo Fighters at Etihad Stadium during the US band’s Concrete and Gold tour, Clowns are about the play to their biggest crowd on home turf. Metal fans can also catch the band kicking up a storm at Download Festival Melbourne‘s debut this March.

2017 saw Clowns release their third album, Lucid Again, receiving much acclaim from critics in Australia and beyond.
Rolling Stone said there was ‘no letting up’ when reviewing the new record (released via Poison City Records).
They concluded it to be, “A blend — or battle — of swoons and feedback follows and across nine epic minutes Clowns pack in their full range, from gutter-punk rawness to flirts of So-Cal punk catchiness — and all that exists in-between.”
