Melbourne’s Slowly Slowly have been bubbling along for a little while now but 2018 looks set to be the year they really come into their own.
The quartet – Ben, Quayle, Pat and Albert – are quickly mastering a modern emo sound fuelled by anxious riffs, relentless hooks and heart-wrenching vocals.
2016 album, Chamomile, put Slowly Slowly’s music in front of key Aussie musos, earning them a notable support slot with fellow Melbourne indie rockers, Ceres.
We can’t wait to see where their love of skating, drumming and hi-5ing takes Slowly Slowly this year.
