Unify Gathering 2022 announce set times; festival this March
Get your tents ready!
Want to lock in some great times with good friends and some of Australia’s best heavy music acts – UNIFY Gathering 2022 has you sorted.
The countdown is on – with Unify ready to head back to its Tarwin Lower home this March. To help get you prepped, they’ve dropped the weekend’s set times, and we absolutely cannot wait!
UPDATE: Unify Gathering have postponed their 2022 festival dates until March.
A statement from the festival organisers:
UNIFY Forever will unfortunately not be going ahead this January and will instead take place on our previously announced back-up weekend of Thursday 10 March to Sunday 13 March 2022.
With the rise in COVID positive cases and the impact this is having on the healthcare system and staffing levels, we received critical advice yesterday from key stakeholders, including emergency services, that the resources required to run UNIFY Forever on the January dates would be limited due to the pandemic.
As we hope you all understand, without the confirmation of adequate emergency services and other key event personnel we just can’t proceed safely in January. Although not the outcome we had hoped for, safety is always our priority when running UNIFY and it’s the best decision we can make given the current situation.
All tickets remain valid for the March dates and we are stoked that we have been able to keep the vast majority of lineup intact. A further update on this will be made over the coming weeks.
We appreciate all your support and patience during this time and sincerely thank all the staff, agents, managers, artists, venue and crew who have worked tirelessly on UNIFY Forever to try and make it happen.
Hang in there everyone. Bring on March!

Whether you’re new to the festival or you’ve been missing the annual pilgrimage out to Tarwin, next year’s UNIFY Gathering is sure to be a momentous occasion.
Unify have locked in their final acts for 2022 – and it is huge news. Capping off a lineup that already features the likes of The Amity Affliction, Violent Soho, Slowly Slowly, Yours Truly, and more – rockers Trophy Eyes are set to take on the Friday night, playing their album Chemical Miracle in full. Will we get some extra treats too? You’ll have to wait to find out.
The Acoustic Sunday Sessions have also dropped the acts that will be seeing you out if you stick around a little longer on the Sunday (and with this lineup, we’d recommend it). You can catch acoustic sets from Ben Stewart (Slowly Slowly), Bugs, Alex Moses (Columbus) and Joshua O’Donnell (Banks Arcade).
And now, with their final countdown on and their second huge lineup announcement here, things are looking even more exciting.
Leading the way is Sydney based post-hardcore band Stories. It’s been a little while since we’ve heard their name pop up (since around their indefinite hiatus in 2016 to be exact) and if you’re wanting to relive the good ol’ days make sure you get in quick – as their UNIFY reunion set is a one-off exclusive.
Early Access Pass holders arriving at UNIFY Forever on Thursday 20 January are in for a big first night, with a cracking lineup announced to get the festival started. AM//PM is Australia’s biggest touring emo night and they’ve put together the perfect lineup to get your mosh feet warmed up.
Adelaide band ALT. are in the mix, as are Melbourne five piece DREGG. They’ll be joined by a stack of local high flyers including Drown This City, Grenade Jumper, and Rumours. For once, getting to the party early doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.
If this big news wasn’t big enough, six more bands are being lined up to take the Unify Festival stage in 2022 – and we’ll have more news for you on that front real soon.
For now, we’re going to chuck Stories’ much-loved debut album ‘The Youth To Become’ on and get prepped.
For those unfamiliar – close your eyes and imagine what heavy music heaven might look like. If yours includes being surrounded by native Australian bush, stunning hills, and the ocean just a hop and a skip away, then you’re in the right place.
UNIFY Gathering 2022 is set to return to Tarwin in South Gippsland from Thursday 20 until Sunday 23 January. Expect all the festivities you’ve come to love with a topnotch lineup, delicious food, carnival rides, and more all on the cards.
From promising up and comers to triple j mainstays; nostalgic singalongs, guitar legends and striking storytellers to unapologetic punk-rockers, poprock tunes and earthshattering breakdowns and thuds, UNIFY 2022 is delivering another stacked lineup.
Leading the way are Australian heavyweights and UNIFY Gathering mainstays The Amity Affliction alongside much loved rockers Violent Soho. They’ll be joined by a smorgasbord of homegrown heroes including first time UNIFY performances from the likes of Alpha Wolf, Teenage Joans, PLINI, BUGS, and Short Stack and return appearances from heavyweights such as Ocean Grove, Thornhill, Yours Truly and WAAX.
Next year will have a strict 7,000 capacity – which is less than the last four instalments of UNIFY – so be sure to secure your tickets early.

What are some top tips for securing tickets?
Make sure you have a My Ticketmaster account
Get the basics covered before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. If you don’t have a Ticketmaster Account then make sure you sign up in advance – Ticketmaster.com.au.
Sign in ahead of time
Remember to triple check your passwords, delivery address, and billing information are all filled in correctly in advance, that way you’re not facing any last-minute account updates when trying to process your order.
There will be a ticket queue
We expect that tickets for UNIFY Gathering 2022 will be in high demand, and to make the process fair for everyone you may be placed in a queue.
We recommend signing into your Ticketmaster account at least 10 minutes before tickets go on sale to save your spot and join the Pre-Queue waiting room.
Once you get your spot in the queue, please do not refresh your browser as you will be pushed to the end of the line.
We will get you through the queue as quickly as possible, so please sit tight.
Keep an eye on the clock
There will be a time limit applied to all transactions as they’re progressed through the ticket purchasing stages. Remember to keep an eye on the timer on your screen and move through the processing pages as quickly as possible (this is even easier when you’ve completed the account set-up stage we mentioned above).
Don’t hit the refresh button
Stick to one window when you’re processing your ticket order and please don’t hit the refresh button. If you do that, you’ll likely end up losing your place in the queue, and as frustrating as it can be, patience is key when trying to buy tickets.
Ticketmaster’s sophisticated systems are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is doing all the hard work for you and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.
Please note, if you see a ‘no tickets available’ message when attempting to purchase tickets, this means there are no tickets available within your search restrictions.
Remember: there are a lot of fans
We’re expecting this to be a very popular event. When a popular event goes on sale there are hundreds and sometimes thousands of customers simultaneously attempting to purchase tickets across all distribution channels. Tickets are sold as long as seats are available, and sometimes they go very quickly.
Be sure to follow the above tips to ensure you have the best chance of snapping up some tickets.
