It’s showtime! Meet Ticketmatcher, a whole new way to discover live events

Want to find out if your favourite artist is coming to town soon and make plans with friends? Meet Ticketmatcher – your search just got a whole lot easier thanks to our partnership with Snapchat.
You can now browse and find tickets to events via the ‘Ticketmatcher’ Mini, where you’ll be matched with upcoming shows based on your city and favourite music genres – whether it’s the world’s biggest hip hop artists playing at a stadium, or the next best breaking band at a venue down the road – with Ticketmatcher your live music experience is up to you.
You can browse events by swiping left or right, saving what you like, and inviting friends to the show by sending a Snap or a chat. It’s as simple as that!
If planning isn’t your thing, and you and your friends much prefer letting your nightly adventures happen on the fly, you can also open the Snap Map wherever you are and find upcoming events nearby through Snapchat’s first-ever partnered Map Layer – the best part is, it works in cities around the country and the globe.
We’re excited to pair the power of live music with Snapchat to offer you a whole new way to connect with your friends through one of a kind live entertainment experiences.
How do I find the ‘Ticketmatcher’ mini?
- To get started, you can jump right into the Ticketmatcher mini through the Rocket Icon in Chat. If the rocket doesn’t appear, in Chat, head to the search box and search ‘Ticketmatcher’, the mini will appear.
- From there, you will be taken through a quick survey so Ticketmatcher can get to know you and your taste
- Then we’ll show you suggested upcoming shows based on your preferences – all you have to do with swipe left and right to browse. Swipe left to skip, or right is a gig catches your eye.
- Found something you like and swiped right? You’ll instantly be able to see if your Snapchat friends have matched with the same event and kick off a conversation through the Snapchat Camera straight from the mini.
- You can even invite their Snapchat Friends and start a guest list right away via chat or post directly to your story so everyone knows you’re keen.
