British folk legend Frank Turner will tour Australia in December 2018

One of the most respected and admired voices in punk and folk music, Frank Turner is returning to Australia with The Sleeping Souls.

Touring down under for the first time since 2015, the politically-charged musician returns in support of his seventh studio album, Be More Kind (released 4 May via Xtra Mile Recordings / Polydor Records).

Still raw, emotional and intrinsically linked to the core of great folk music, the new record sees the 36-year-old singer/songwriter explore more personal experiences with a universal standpoint.

Talking about Be More Kind, Turner has said, “I wanted to try and get out of my comfort zone and do something different.”

The new songs are said to be more electronic and, in many ways, more intricate than the stripped-down era of Turner’s 2015 album, Positive Songs for Negative People.

We can’t wait to see how these new songs translate to Turner’s much-loved live show.

Ticketmaster will have tickets for Frank Turner in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
