Dune Rats may’ve been busy touring the world and scoring a #1 ARIA Chart Album, but that hasn’t stopped them plotting their biggest Australian national tour to date.

The Brisbane outfit will hit the road again in September and October, having announced a string of dates including huge shows at Forum Melbourne and The Tivoli in Brisbane.

Pulling out all the stops for their biggest ever tour, they’ve also announced California’s Wavves as support, as well as Hockey Dad and WAAX.

“Having USA legends Wavves on the tour is a f***ing trip out,” said Dune Rats drummer, BC Michaels. Singer Danny Beusa. “It’s blown our minds that when we all started playin’shows at house parties back in the day, Wavves were getting smashed in the stereo in the room next door, now we’re gonna be on tour with ’em”.

Bass player Brett Jansch added, “We have friends with Dunies and Wavves tattoos, they are gonna flip out!”

The pair also said, “This tour is such a f***ing awesome way to bring home and celebrate what’s been the best year of our lives in Dune Rats/ ever. There’s going to be some big skits s**t go down at these shows and we’re going to smash out the biggest f***ing show we can possibly put on”.
