The Monkees
December 11

Hey, hey they’re the Monkees… and they are heading to the Thebarton Theatre as part of their 50th Anniversary Tour! The Monkees were one of the hottest bands of the 1960s, as well as four of the biggest television stars of the time. Original members Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz will reunite on stage to perform the Monkees’ biggest hits. The Monkees will perform at the Thebarton Theatre on December 11 and will also hit the stage at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre, State Theatre Sydney and the Perth Concert Hall.

Russell Howard: Round the World – Live Tour

This show has a very long lead time, but we can assure you Russell Howard is worth the wait! The English comedian and television host is a master of stand-up comedy and one of the UK’s most successful live comedians. Russell Howard will perform 10 dates at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall and then visit a further 29 international cities, which luckily includes Adelaide. The comedian is absolutely hilarious so do not miss your chance to see him live on stage at the Thebarton Theatre in July 2017. He will also perform at Arts Centre Melbourne Hamer Hall and the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.

This is one event that the entire family will be itching to see. Circus Oz has been wowing the crowds for decades and they will do it all over again with their newest show, TWENTYSIXTEEN. 2CELLOS – The Celloverse Tour

What do you get when you mix Bach and Vivaldi with AC/DC and Michael Jackson? You get the instrumental duo 2CELLOS of course. The Croatian cellists have made a huge name for themselves over the past five years, supporting Elton John on tour,  appearing on the Ellen Degeneres show and releasing incredible versions of famous songs such as Smooth Criminal and Thunderstruck. 2CELLOS will perform at the Thebarton Theatre on November 28 as well as Queensland’s Eatons Hill Hotel and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre.

Rodriguez with Special Guest Archie Roach

Sugar Man aka Sixto Rodriguez has one of the most fascinating stories in music history. The American singer-songwriter had a short-lived career, except in South Africa, where it has been reported Rodriguez outsold Elvis. Some dedicated fans tracked down the musician leading to a resurgence in his career and popularity. Now is your chance to see the man himself live on stage at the Thebarton Theatre with very special guest, Archie Roach.
