Start planning your nights pronto.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Golden tickets are in high demand now that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has taken over Capitol Theatre, but luckily, we’ve got insider knowledge on how you can get one. Experience the wonder of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, featuring songs from the original film including Pure Imagination and The Candy Man, as well as a brand new Broadway score. Take a joyride through a world of pure imagination. Tickets available here.

West Side Story

There’s a reason why the view from Sydney Harbour is one of the most recognisable cityscapes around the world – and no matter whether you’re a Sydney local or just stopping in for a short stay, it doesn’t get any less breathtaking.

The Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour is set to bring the mean streets of New York’s West Side to the harbour, when West Side Story arrives this March. The Jets and The Sharks will face off in a tale of love, rivalry, and infectious singalongs. Raise a glass as the sun sets over the city.  Tickets available here.

Saturday Night Fever

With a killer soundtrack and extraordinary disco dancing, Saturday Night Fever is ready to bring the dancefloor to Sydney Lyric. The 1977 movie was first turned into a musical in 1998 for London’s West End, but this new version premiered in Paris just last year. Jampacked with Bee Gees hits, it’s time to cheer on Tony Manero as he sets out to become the king of the club.  Tickets available here.

Sydney Royal Easter Show

There’s so much to see and do at the Sydney Royal Easter show that it’s hard to sum up here. There are animal competitions galore (from dogs to alpacas – the cute factor is huge), arts and crafts display, Team Isuzu D-Max Precision Driving, mountains of glorious food, a selection of top-notch showbags – and that’s only scratching the surface for what’s set to be a great day out for the whole family. It lands this April at Sydney Showgrounds.  Tickets available here.

Muriel’s Wedding

Not to worry though, the fun doesn’t end in April. Muriel’s Wedding was such a hit with Sydney theatre fans that it’s returning again, for a strictly limited season, this June – and this time, it’s even bigger. Bringing the cult 1994 film to the stage, get ready to relive all the mayhem, laughs, and incredible soundtrack that has kept Muriel’s Wedding so well loved for more than two decades.  Tickets available here.
