Ticketmaster Talks went behind the scenes with the cast of Cinderella The Musical!

Tony Award-winning Broadway musical production Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is now playing at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre before opening at Sydney Lyric in October.

We caught up with Todd McKenney (Sebastian, Melbourne season) and Tina Bursill (Madame/Stepmother, Melbourne & Sydney seasons) behind the scenes to find out more about the musical, what it’s like playing the show’s villains, and what audiences can expect from the magical show.

This is one of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s greatest scores and this production with beautiful orchestrations, magnificent costumes and sets, jaw-dropping transformations and all the moments you love from the classic story, will have audiences clamoring for more.

All the classic story elements you know and love are, of course, present in this enchanting musical production. From glass slippers, to the transforming pumpkin, a beautiful masked ball, Prince Charming, and the Fairy Godmother – but, this magical fresh tale also features some surprising twists that will keep you guessing.

The cast bringing the show to life on stage are truly incredible. Joining McKenney and Bursill are Shubshri Kandiah (Ella), Ainsley Melham (Prince Topher), Silvie Paladino (Marie, the Fairy Godmother), Bianca Bruce (Charlotte), Matilda Moran (Gabrielle), Daniel Belle (Lord Pinkleton), and Josh Gardiner (Jean-Michel). They will also be joined by an incredible ensemble cast.
