Sarah Wilson announces 2021 ‘The Wild and Precious’ national tour

Join the New York Times bestselling author in conversation

One of Australia’s most celebrated and recognised authors, Sarah Wilson, is set to bring her latest book This One Wild and Precious Life around the country for a bookclub-style “Big Conversation” tour next January and February.

Wilson’s latest book This One Wild and Precious Life is a soul’s journey through the complexities of climate change, coronavirus, racial inequalities and our disconnection from what matters. Sarah tells the story while hiking around the world in the footsteps of Nietzsche, poets and scientists, meeting wild voices and experts. The book will be published this September.

The New York Times bestselling author of I Quit Sugar and First, We Make The Beast Beautiful will take fans through a fun, wild deep dive into the clusterf*ck of issues we are struggling to live with and talk about, from the state of our planet, Covid19, our disconnection from each other. Wilson will take the tour to regional towns, as well as the capital cities, conducting hikes in these areas with participants.

“I spent three years talking with experts around the world to find a vibrant, hopeful path forward,” Wilson says. “Now I want to have that chat with readers.”

Wilson is a former journalist and TV presenter, author and activist. Previously she was editor of Cosmopolitan Australia, host of Masterchef Australia and founder of the largest wellness website in Australia, IQuitSugar.com. In May 2018, she closed the business and gave all money to charity.
