Melbourne Flower Show is an Instagrammers dream

The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show opens to the public today and if you thought it wasn’t your thing, think again.

We popped along to the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens to get a sneak peek of the event, and what we found was a total Instagrammers dream.

As well as garden enthusiasts, the Melbourne Flower Show is a stunning day (and night) out for anyone who can appreciate picturesque scenes, craft beer, fashion and fairy lights.

There’s heaps to see and most of which you won’t even expect to find here, including an enchanting exhibition of artist flower designs from fashion students, live entertainment, the finest craft beer and premium wines, an entire deli patch serving the best local cheeses and a whole stall dedicated to flower-themed cupcakes.

It’s full of flower power too, of course, with the event hosting landscape designs, sculpture gardens, floral design workshops, and a garden by twilight that will totally transform the city gardens on Friday 31 March.
