Step inside a world of pure imagination as Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory confirms its Australian debut in Sydney.

The hit Broadway production will open its factory doors for the first time for Oz audiences at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre in January 2019.

Generation after generation has fallen in love with Roald Dahl’s treasured tale, now be prepared to be thrilled by the story once again in its new story on stage.

The show features all your favourite songs from the original film including Pure Imagination, The Candy Man, I’ve Got a Golden Ticket. Not forgetting the iconic Oompa-Loompas, incredible inventions, costumes, colourful sets and so much more.

Featuring direction by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien, now it’s Australia’s chance to experience the magical story of Charlie Bucket, the five Golden Tickets, and the amazing Willy Wonka – delectable enough to satisfy any sweet tooth.

After dazzling theatregoers on Broadway, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will open at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre in January 2019.
