More weekend, more sport. We love it. Have a read of all the sport going on across Australia this weekend.

Victoria

Easter weekend is prime time for footy in Victoria. Have a read here about all the footy action going on this weekend.

It all starts with North v Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Good Friday (19 April) at 4.20pm. The match supports the Good Friday Appeal and Royal Childrens Hospital as the annual ‘Kick for the Kids’ match.

The next day sees Richmond take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium in the only Saturday night game for the week. Dusty is back and the Tigers are roaring so this one will be huge.

On the same day, the Australian Ice Hockey League begin their 2019 season at O’Brien Icehouse in Docklands. See the Melbourne Mustangs v Adelaide Adrenaline at 5pm.

The next day (21 April), Melbourne Ice face the Adrenaline at 4pm, again at O’Brien Icehouse in a big weekend of ice hockey action in Melbourne.

The footy continues Easter Sunday (21 April) with Western Bulldogs v Carlton. If the Doggies have serious finals aspirations, this is a must win. Or, can the Blues finally grab their first win of the season after too many ‘honourable losses’?

New South Wales

It’s an NRL weekend in Wollongong, with St George Illawarra Dragons v Manly Sea Eagles in their first clash at WIN Stadium this season. It’s a 7.30pm start on Saturday night (20 April).

Both sides have won their past three, setting up a serious heavyweight battle. Which side can make it four on the trot?

Western Australia

Good Friday (19 April) footy takes over this weekend as West Coast host Port Adelaide at Optus Stadium at 6.10pm. The Eagles themselves have won their past three, while Port have convinced the footy world they can be a force this year.

Can the Eagles put out the Power? Either way this one is going to be fierce.

Mark Hutchings will roll out for his 100th game this weekend
