Australia will take on New Zealand in the first of a three-Test series at Perth Stadium.

From Thursday 12 December until Monday 16 December, the Day-Night Test will be the first of its kind in the city.

After dispatching of Pakistan by an innings in Brisbane in the first Test of the month, and then again in Adelaide, our Aussies look to be on song this summer of cricket.

Australia took out the two-match series against Pakistan very comfortably and will be hoping for a clean sweep again as New Zealand return to our shores.

The second-rated Test team in world cricket, New Zealand will undoubtedly put up more of a fight, following a strong start to their own summer against England.

After defeating England 3-2 in a five-match T20 series, the Kiwis then smashed them by an innings in their first Test of the summer, further showcasing their emerging reputation as a leading Test nation.

Day-Night Test

Perth Stadium is undoubtedly the perfect stadium to host a Day-Night clash, with quite possibly the world’s best lighting display at the stadium.

Day-Night Test

In just the second Test match at the new venue, you would be hard-pressed to find a better backdrop as the day turns to dusk and the lights come on over what is hopefully an enthralling game of cricket.

The Test will begin at 1pm, finishing at 8pm each day, with over 100,000 fans predicted to flock to the venue.

Tickets to the Test match, starting Thursday 12 December, are available from Ticketmaster.com.au.
