Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2020: What’s happening off-track

There is so much to see and do around the circuit

See available tickets

The 2020 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix is so much more than what happens on the track.

Of course, the event centres around the big race. Can Daniel Ricciardo cause an upset and do some damage on his home circuit? Can Sebastian Vettel claim his fourth Australian win? Or will Lewis Hamilton notch up his third Melbourne victory?

You can be sure that the action on-track will keep you on the edge of your seat.

But every year, the fun off-track continues to get bigger and better, and in 2020 they’ve taken things to a whole new level for motorsport lovers, music fans, families and even those who enjoy a day out in the sun.

For the motorsport fans

F1® Fan Zone and Supercars Central

The must-visit pit-stop for every racing lover, the F1® Fan Zone is the place to have your souvenirs and merchandise signed by your heroes. From F1® drivers to other motorsport legends, they’ll be stopping by across the Grand Prix weekend.

There will be plenty of displays, showcases and roadshows that all Australian Grand Prix ticket holders can access.

The Beaurepaires Supercars Central and Supercars Paddock gives you a behind-the-scenes look at your favourite Supercars teams and vehicles, the only round on the calendar that grants fans such access.

Melbourne Walk

No other race in the world gives you access to F1® drivers like this. Each day the Melbourne Walk gives fans close-up access to their favourite drivers when they enter Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit via the iconic path.

Drivers will stop for selfies and autographs along the way, with all Grand Prix ticket holders granted access to the Melbourne Walk.

Grand Prix Motor Show

For those with one eye on the future, check out the most technologically advanced engineering feats with new automotive releases on display for fans.

Admire and inspect a huge collection of cars, including the Porsche experimental roadshow, Porsche in Motion, and the Ferrari Red Lounge, an immersive experience showcasing the Ferrari F8 Spider and SF90 Stradale.

For the families

Kids of all ages are going to have a blast at this year’s Kids Zone!

First up, all kids 14-and-under go free on an AusGP Park Pass with a paying adult, with tickets available at the gate.

The Kids’ Corner lets the young ones get behind the wheel, with a purpose-built track where they can drive Porsche pedal cars. At the end of the training, they’ll even get their very own Porsche Kids Track Experience safe driving licence.

There are games to play and plenty of activations to keep them entertained for hours, including opportunities to meet the superheroes they idolise.
