The Monster Energy AUS-X Open will land in Melbourne on Saturday 30 November, as Marvel Stadium is transformed to accommodate the International Supercross event.

What is the AUS-X Open?

Described as the ‘Twenty-20 of motorsport’, the AUS-X Open pits the world’s best Supercross riders against each other on a world-championship-sized track. The event launched in Sydney in 2015, and will head to Melbourne for the first time on Saturday 30 November this year.

The event will also double as the 2019 Australian Supercross Championship Grand Final round.

In addition to the Supercross, Marvel Stadium will play host to freestyle motocross, live music, extreme pyrotechnics and non-stop entertainment as sparks literally fly and carve up the track.

Just how big is it?

This is immense. Described as the biggest off-road motorcycle racing and action sports event in Aussie history doesn’t even begin to do it justice.

6,000 tonnes of dirt will be used in an engineering feat that will provide to be one of the most challenging in Australian sporting history. Supports will be imported and then constructed in the lower level carpark in order to handle the pressure of the dirt taking over the Marvel Stadium turf.

Australia’s largest indoor stadium will be transformed like you’ve never seen it!
