Adelaide 500 shifts into gear tomorrow

The opening round of the Supercars Championship Series swerves into the Adelaide Street Circuit this weekend.

The opening round of the Supercars Championship Series will this year be held from March 1-4, once again at the Adelaide Street Circuit.

Race 1, the opening 250 kilometres, will take place this Saturday (3 March) at 3:20pm. Race 2, the final 250 kilometres, will begin at 3:20pm on Sunday (4 March). There are plenty of other qualifying, practice and support races occurring throughout the four days, so check out the full race program here.

Apart from the races, there will be plenty of entertainment on offer for fans as well. Check out everything that all the attractions here, including the Honda Motorcycle Junior GP, the Coopers Session Ale Beer Garden, car displays, a track walk, and plenty of fun zones for the kids.

Your favourite drivers will also be signing autographs in the TrAction Zone throughout Saturday and Sunday. Find out the times of each of the driver’s signing sessions here.

The Adelaide 500 will also see huge concerts with big-name artists performing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

Famous Aussie rock band, Cold Chisel, will headline Friday night’s concert, supported by Kasey Chambers and Bad//Dreems. American rockers, Live, will then be performing at Saturday night’s concert, with Birds of Tokyo as their support act. Finally, International pop superstar Robbie Williams will grace the stage after the final race for Sunday night’s concert, supported by Brisbane indie-pop band, Sheppard.

Single tickets are available to any of the four days, either through General Admission or with Grandstand seating. Tickets to the Nova Deck or Senna Platform are also available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Alternatively, you can grab 4-day tickets to the Grandstands, General Admission or Platforms (3-day).
Family tickets are also available.

This is the 20th anniversary of the Adelaide 500, and it is set to be bigger than ever!
