The 2019 Superloop Adelaide 500 has just dropped two huge music announcements for the event.

ARIA Award-winning artists Vance Joy and Amy Shark will join global phenomenon and previously announced Red Hot Chili Peppers in one-off performances.

After previously announcing that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform the Sunday night (3 March) post-race concert, Vance Joy and Amy Shark have been confirmed as the headliners on the Friday night (1 March).

Fresh from winning the ARIA Award for Best Adult Contemporary Album last week, Vance Joy spoke about performing in Adelaide. “I can’t wait to share the stage with Amy Shark at the Superloop Adelaide 500 – what a way to celebrate great Australian music,” he said.

“I always enjoy performing in Adelaide and it’s exciting to be a part of one of the biggest sporting events in the country.”

Amy Shark, who recently took home the ARIA for Best Pop Release, Album of the Year and Best Female Artist, will perform before Vance Joy. Shark said of the event, “I have heard great things about the Superloop Adelaide 500 and can’t wait to perform in Adelaide again. This will be our only performance in Adelaide for 2019 – we can’t wait to see all our South Australian fans down at the track.”

The Superloop Adelaide 500 will take place next year from Thursday 28 February to Sunday 3 March. Tickets to the event will automatically gain entry to see the concert performances for the relevant day. You can grab tickets now at Ticketmaster.com.au.
