Guns N' Roses see out their Australian tour at Perth's Domain Stadium

Guns N’ Roses wrapped up the Australian leg of their world tour in Perth last night, playing to a packed Domain Stadium.

The near-original line-up pulled out all the stops for their final show down under, dishing up plenty of fan favourites throughout the night.

A three-hour set saw the Los Angeles rockers deliver the goods for fans, with Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan chugging through their greatest hits with the help of their regular touring band.

“The concert undoubtedly had all the trappings of a great stadium rock show complete with pyrotechnics, impressive visuals, firing gun sound effects, blistering guitar solos and a frontman with swags of attitude,” said PerthNow‘s Jay Hanna.

Adding later in the review, “Rose took to the piano for November Rain, showcasing not only an impressive knuckle duster, but that hitherto unexposed charm and vulnerability that made him the ultimate bad boy pin-up in the 80s and 90s.”

Before delving into the emotional encore, “The band returned for an encore featuring Don’t Cry and a cover of The Who song The Seeker before delivering what is arguably their finest rock offering – Paradise City.

“With Rose’s voice soaring over Slash’s blistering guitar riffs it was a moment in time many fans felt they would probably never witness. And as confetti shot into the air and fireworks exploded in the sky it was a moment many would never forget.” Read PerthNow’s full review.

It’s safe to say the Not In This Lifetime tour has been a hit with Guns N’ Roses fans in Oz!
