Bendigo singer-songwriter yergurl finds out what 2021 has in store for her

Is it 2021 yet?

We are all probably pretty ready to farewell 2020 and welcome 2021 with open arms. But what does the next 12 months have in store for us? Who knows! But Bendigo singer-songwriter yergurl is turning to her oracle cards to see if she can get some insights into her future.

Check out her oracle reading – helped along by her twin sister Marci – to get to know yergurl a little better.

Wearing the hats of vocalist, songwriter, and producer, Bendigo native Fae Scott and her musical alter-ego yergurl make dreamy pop beats in her bedroom. Her catalogue – right now, featuring big 2020 bop ‘until we meet again’ alongside a neat little five-track EP and some other nuggets over on SoundCloud – is filled with raw, open, honest, and sassy songwriting, telling tales of growing up in regional Victoria, of life as a rebellious teen, and of the power emotions can have over you.

Her music is a raw and honest snapshot into the adolescent mind, sharing stories of teenage romances, break ups, rebellion, powerful emotions, and more. On her latest single ‘until we meet again’ – her first release in 12 months – yergurl transcends the blissful lo-fi production of her debut EP, contrasting dreamy falsetto with heavy percussion, driving bass and anthemic choruses. When we say it’s a big bop, we really mean it.
