Good Friday Appeal Night Show

The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal has been a tradition in Victoria since 1931 and in that time is has raised almost $300 million for kids in need. A highlight of the event is the Night Show, which features many of Australia’s best talents alongside celebrities and personalities. The 2016 event at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre Plenary will feature Adam Brand, Samantha Jade, comedian Steven K Amos, Tripod and Cyrus.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival begins on March 23 and the 2016 event promises to be bigger, better and even funnier than ever before. There are hundreds of performances at various venues throughout Melbourne and Victoria with local and international comedians ready to tickle your funny bone. There’s kids comedy as well, which makes the Comedy Festival perfect for the entire family.

RockWiz’s Really Really Good Friday

Red Hot Summer Tour

AFL Round 1

Finally! The AFL is back. Footy fans around Australia will be rejoicing and some of the best events of the weekend will be held in Melbourne, notably Etihad Stadium, with North Melbourne v Adelaide on Saturday March 26 and the Western Bulldogs v Fremantle on Sunday March 27. All four of those teams will be hoping for a big 2016 and a win in the opening Round of the Season will be a big help. Be there to support your team.

Matilda

Roald Dahl’s classic tale has been reimagined for the stage and quite simply it is magnificent. Matilda the Musical, which features music and lyrics written by Tim Minchin, is a must-see event for everyone. Silvers Circus

Silvers Circus has set up their famous Big Top in Cheltenham and they are ready for loads of family fun across the Easter long weekend and school holidays. Byron Bay Bluesfest

Sydney Royal Easter Show
