SummerSalt 2022 sell out Hobart show, announce second date

The summer is heating up!

The good times are on their way, because outdoor concert series SummerSalt 2022 has pulled together a stellar cast of Australia’s favourite homegrown musicians for next year’s events.

Taking over some of the most picturesque and iconic locations around the country, whether you like to enjoy your live music up dancing with your friends or sitting back in the sunshine, Summersalt is a must.

Last year’s SummerSalt tour were some of the first live music events to be held post-lockdown. Ticketmaster’s two-part short film series ‘Radical Hope’ takes you behind the scenes. You can find out more about the emotional journey the team went on to put on these shows – overcoming COVID-19 restrictions to tell a compelling story based on “radical hope”. Watch ‘Radical Hope’ here.

Kicking off SummerSalt’s national run in February at Hobart’s Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, SummerSalt 2022 will make ten sun-soaked stops along the way. We’ll keep you updated as lineups and dates are announced.

While we can’t give away everything right now, what we can promise is that you should expect the same marvellous day out SummerSalt is known for delivering. Think homegrown Australian talent performing live music, picturesque beachside locations, family-friendly activities, local market stalls, lush lawns, food trucks, and a selection of refreshing beverages – perfect for a day in the sunshine.

While the lineups slightly vary from stop to stop, one thing you can be certain of is the perfect balance between much-loved, familiar faces and fresh, new talent ready to become your new favourites.

Leading the way on first announced legs of the tour are Missy Higgins, Xavier Rudd, and Birds of Tokyo.
