Spacey Jane announce huge ‘Sunlight’ Australian tour
The Freo foursome are firing into 2021!
2020 was a huge year for Fremantle rockers Spacey Jane thanks to the release of their debut album Sunlight. Now they get to take it on the road.
Released in June last year, Sunlight reached #2 on the ARIA charts and was voted Album of the Year in the triple j Listener’s Poll.
With numerous shows across the country planned, cancelled, rescheduled and cancelled again in 2020, the band are keen to head East once more.

Sunlight is an absolute delight. Staying true to its name, the sun-soaked, languid melodies, jangling guitars, sense of youthful optimism and honest vulnerability that filters through the album’s 12 tracks leaves you feeling a little bit brighter.
They kicked of this year in a huge way, taking out the #2 spot in triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown with ‘Booster Seat’. Three more tracks from Sunlight also made the countdown, with ‘Skin’ placing #15, ‘Straightfaced’ at #28, and ‘Weightless’ at #81.
