WESTERN AUSTRALIA

The Wizard of Oz

Follow the yellow brick road to the Leederville Town Hall to take in the amazing production of The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy, Tinman, Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion will all be on hand to entertain the kids and take them on a wild adventure far from Kansas.

AFL – West Coast

As we get to the pointy end of the AFL season, the West Coast Eagles face a crunch match against one of the league’s ladder leaders, North Melbourne. The Kangaroos started the year with a flurry but they have faltered of late. Will the Eagles swoop on the Kangas, or will it be North Melbourne who takes the points back to Victoria? You’ll need to be there to find out.

AFL – Fremantle

It has been a tough year for the local side, but as always Fremantle’s loyal fans are sticking in there with their team. Freo is rallying late in the year and they would love nothing more than to send the Cats back to Geelong empty-handed. Get down to Domain Stadium to see if they can do it.

Gazillion Bubble Show

If holiday boredom is bubbling away at your place, check out the Gazillion Bubble Show at Theatre Royal. Direct from Broadway, this show combines amazing bubble magic with lasers and lights and is presented by record-breaking bubble artist Melody Yang.

Cinderella

Bonnie Lythgoe’s winter pantomime is returning to the State Theatre and the cast is tackling one of the most-loved pantos of all time, Cinderella. Real Housewives star Gina Liano will be on stage as the Wicked Stepmother and Kev Orkian returns as Buttons. This is one show not to be missed!

NRL

NRL fans will be in seventh heaven over the school holidays with many highly-anticipated matches taking place across the two weeks. The Manly Sea Eagles will take on St George at Brookvale Oval on July 4, the Parramatta Eels will play the Sydney Roosters at Pirtek Stadium on July 8 and on July 17 the Newcastle Knights will host Melbourne Storm at Hunter Stadium.

AFL – Greater Western Sydney

The Greater Western Sydney Giants are on a roll and they have been absolutely unstoppable at Spotless Stadium in 2016. On July 9 Collingwood will fly north to try to break the winning streak. If you want to see the Giants continue their winning ways, get behind the local team and cheer the boys to victory.
