Can you believe it? Multi award-winning singer-songwriter Rob Thomas is heading to Australian stages this November, and we have all the info you need to make sure you get there.
Following the release of his fourth solo album Chip Tooth Smile, Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas will make a welcome return to our stages for a trio of very special a day on the green performances.
We’re sure you don’t need us to run through the list for you, but among his absolute swag of hits are solo classics like Lonely No More, This Is How A Heart Breaks, Her Diamonds, Streetcorner Symphony, Little Wonders and Matchbox Twenty favourites Push, 3AM, If You’re Gone, Unwell, How Far We’ve Come and Bent, as well as Smooth, his worldwide smash hit collab with Santana.
With a back catalogue this huge, it’s sure to be a real task narrowing down which tunes to play, but fans can definitely expect a mixed bag of favourites from across Thomas’ 30+ year career alongside a taste of new tracks lifted from his latest album when he arrives.
The album, Chip Tooth Smile, is another autobiographical look into the songwriter’s life. From the grief of losing close friends to embracing the idea of getting older, this is a deep dive into the life of Rob Thomas since he released The Great Unknown back in 2015.

Rob Thomas will perform a trio of special A Day On The Green performances this November. Catch him live at Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley on Saturday 9 November, Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley on Saturday 16 November, and Sirromet Wines, Mt Cotton on Sunday 17 November. He will also perform a one-off show at Kings Park, Perth on Saturday 23 November. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com.au.
